LENS
A solo roleplaying engine — the GM’s “as you walk out, you notice…”, made mechanical.
Play
The table at your side: roll the L-tables, ask the Yes/No dice, run your Pressure Clocks, and keep the Pressure Card — everything recorded, session by session, in your browser.
The Book
Part I in full — what Lens is, Ignition, the First Roll, Pressure, Perspective, where to start, and how to read the tables.
The Tables
All twenty-five Lens Tables, L1–L25, in their five families — intent, stem, results grid, and First Signs.
Palettes
Genre reading layers — Heroic Fantasy, Cosmic Horror, Science Fiction, Cyberpunk, Crime & Modern, and the Norse Mythic register.
Reference Layer
The whole loop on one page, for use at the table: session zero, the Lens Loop, Follow or Resist, the Commit Procedure, clocks and tags.
Yes/No & Details
The binary oracle and the quick detail prompts — likelihood, the Twist die, Sensory Hooks and Stakes Prompts.
Lens sits over the games you already play. It does not replace your RPG’s dice — it restricts authorial omniscience, not player agency: you may know the module, but your character only knows what reaches them. A Lens roll hands you the moment as the character meets it — the Tell, the Impression, the Impulse, and the pressure it adds to the clock. You Follow, or you Resist and take the pen. When a clock fills, the world Commits.
